   Senior Market Managers are responsible for maximizing net revenue in assigned markets,
   as well as leading and directing Market Managers within the assigned region.The role also
   plays an integral part of the team which makes inventory, pricing, and merchandising decisions for the region.

 仕事内容

■Supervise and direct Market Manger and Market Co-ordinators within assigned region.
 
■Establish and maintain supplier relationships with hotel properties and hotel management companies.

■Work with Regional Director to guide marketing and advertising departments through promotions,
  merchandising, ads, seasonality, and overall strategy for assigned territory.

■Optimizing revenue through the acquisition and management of inventory, rates and promotions.

■Support suppliers in managing inventory in all systems sourced by Orbitz, Cheap Tickets, ebookers,  
  HotelClub and RatesToGo.

■Analyze contracts, rate and inventory reports to gain in-depth understanding of suppliers in assigned markets.

■Secure and negotiate competitive rates and inventory to meet room night targets, including at peak periods.

■Conduct weekly competitive analysis for hotels.

■Monitor, evaluate, and report on markets within territory, individual accounts and markets progress
 toward achieving weekly, monthly, annual targets. Conduct supplier evaluations.

■Understand high/low occupancy periods for all assigned accounts and corresponding markets.

■Create and maintain calendars for key events develop/execute plan for meeting market demand.

■Monitor and analyze weekly sales reports to track progress and performance of hotel suppliers and markets.

■Monitor fulfillment performance by hotel suppliers and address any problems or concerns.

■10-15 years hotel/distribution/travel sales experience in sales/account/revenue management within
  the hospitality industry.

■Fluent in English and Japanese

■Minimum meets/exceeds expectations for ALL review ratings

■Completed seminars/course work in sales, marketing, management, or leadership

■Prefer prior supervisory experience

■Demonstrated sales leadership on both performance metrics and informal team leadership needs.

■Requires local market experience or distinctive functional/vertical expertise
  (Japanese online travel and hospitality markets)

■High level negotiation skills.

■Experience in sales team management

■Strong analytical skills required; working knowledge of hotel revenue or inventory management preferred.

■Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, plus thorough knowledge
 of Internet technologies

■Ability to work independently and thrive in a multi-tasked, fast paced environment

■Strong organizational as well as written and oral communication skills

■Ability to establish effective relationships with all levels of management

■Professional, "get it done" attitude and work ethic.
